Danusha celebrated 15 years of promoting Modern and contemporary fine art from Ukraine with the launch of a special anniversary exhibition of an artist whose vibrant, emotive expressionist paintings lay bare the human character and enjoin the viewer to share the intensity of his lyrical approach to colour and form. The exhibition was held at The Arts Club, Mayfair's distinguished cultural and literary venue. Download flyer

High octane Russian purchases of art may have rocked the art world recently, but the fascination with Socialist historic paintings that began in the early nineties continues. So do the modern impressionist pieces by the artists trained in the academies post-Stalin. This touring exhibition gave an overview of how technique and style flourished despite many constraints behind the Iron Curtain. Download flyer

Andriy Yalanskyi: The Monet of Ukraine

An opportunity to catch the last rays of summer light in Yalanskyi's Impressionist portraits, landscapes, still-lifes and hunting and country scenes. The works by Ukraine's most intuitive painter of tone brought together in a month long show in the Scottish Borders at Galashiels' Old Gala House, a building with a 500 year history.
