In the midst of the tumultous changes underway in Eastern Europe in the early 1990s, many hopes for a better, brighter future began to see the light of day. And amongst them was Danusha Fine Arts, the brainchild of city highflyer Tamara Demidenko who took it upon herself to bring the fine traditions of painting from her native Ukraine to the rest of the world. Supporting artists now widely recognised in the international art world, and bringing their work to shows in London, Tamara has forced the world to sit up and take notice the expertise, skill, passion and vision that is Ukrainian painting. Now, after 15 years of the ruthless pursuit of artistic excellence, targeted promotion and dedicated support of fledgling and established artists alike, Danusha Fine Arts can proudly claim to be the first and last port of call for gallerists, dealers and collectors who want to share the delight of the best of Ukrainian art. |
